Job Summary:

The two main areas of focus of this position are the recruiting, recognition, and retention of Stevens Pass Mountain Dining staff. As well as supporting the operational excellence of our F&B leadership team. This role interviews and hiring employees. This position also acts as a liaison for the department in regards to employee housing occupancy, trainings, etc... This position will also support the Food and Beverage leadership team while directly reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage. Administrative assistance including paperwork, administrative organization, maintain and processing monthly Food and beverage inventories etc.

 

This role requires that you are forward thinking and one step ahead of the needs of the business; act fast to changing dynamics; are able to synthesize multiple viewpoints, including external perspectives, to create well thought-out strategic plans; present new ideas by way of detailed analysis and careful planning inclusive of contingency plans; continuously prioritize to ensure the focus is on the most important work

 

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage:  $23 - $25 / hour. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Year Round / Full Time 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Basic filing and administrative duties
  • Act as a point of contact for new hires and assist all employees as needed.
  • Assist keeping F&B management team on track to meet deadlines for meetings or information requests.
  • Take and distribute meeting minutes of weekly Stevens Pass Food and beverage Leadership Team meetings and other meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain security of sensitive paperwork and confidential information
  • Maintain order of network computer drive following Corporate/SOX records retention procedures
  • Oversight of the hiring process for all Stevens Pass F&B employees.
  • Work with visa agencies for recruitment of international employees to include college interns.
  • Monitor Enablon and assist outlet managers as they develop action plans and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor GX and work with F&B GX ambassador to look for trends and bring strategies to correct course when needed.
  • Work with housing coordinators to ensure employee housing to applicable employees. Maintaining the housing roster to include notifying the leasing office of employee move out dates
  • Maintain employee roster & housing roster for accuracy through the season in Microsoft Excel to include utilizing conditional formatting, filters and formula writing
  • Track employee trainings/certifications, hiring status
  • Assist with the organization and administration of F&B new/returning employee orientations and other necessary trainings.
  • Tracking and supporting Food and Beverage monthly inventory. Formulating theoretical cost of goods
  • Work with team to develop strategies to achieve department WIG and reach shared goals.
  • Assist in coupa/OnBase invoice receiving, purchase order creation, capital tracking and accrual troubleshooting as needed
  • Work with our Resort Admin team and support Resort items as communicated
  • Assist with various jobs in the restaurants during peak seasons as necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Fluent English, written and spoken
  • Ability to learn new computer systems quickly
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Must be computer literate, detailed, organized, and a self-starter with the ability to work with little supervision
  • Must have excellent guest service skills, and maintain the ability to multi-task in a seasonal work environment
  • Must have the drive and motivation to develop and grow leadership skills

Preferred:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Two years working in administration position or equivalent experience
  • Three years F&B management experience
  • Microsoft Office skills and experience with an emphasis on Excel

 

 

The budgeted range starts at $23 - $25.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
