Job Duties:

  • Maintains a friendly and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Follow all Safety and Quality Standards
  • Train housekeepers to standard and ensure all safety procedures are understood and being followed.
  • Ensures all work for is completed on schedule with the desired level of quality.
  • Ensure all Guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned to standard which would include the following:
    • Making beds, Cleaning Bathrooms, Floors, Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen all floors and high touch point areas
    • Restocking linens, towels, and amenities
  • Reports lost items found to Housekeeping Office/Management.  Records in Lost/Found log book located in Housekeeping office
  • Ensures the department leads the charge in regard to recycling efforts and environmental initiatives
  • Ensure all rooms are property secured after each cleaning, and after every departure.
  • Report any maintenance issues.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
  • Ensures the housekeeping productivity, through the inspecting of units, supervising of teams, and providing strong teams support by assisting co-workers and leading groups of room attendants.



  • High School Diploma required, Hotel Management Degree-Preferred
  • Housekeeping experience in hotels or condos
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal - Required
  • Able to communicate in Spanish - Preferred
  • Previous Excel knowledge - Preferred
  • Experience on IQ-ware and Microsoft applications - Preferred
  • Experience in a supervisory/management and housekeeping position - Preferred
  • Strong organizational and team management skills- Required
  • Experience with PeopleSoft-Preferred
  • Able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
