Supervisor Job Posting

 

Job Summary: The Ski & Ride School Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day Ski and Ride School operations at the Liberty Mountain Resort. They will work together with both guests and employees at all levels of the organization to create a safe, fun experience with the goal of creating lifelong Liberty Ski and Ride School guests.

 

Essential Job responsibilities:

  • Work with the Ski and Ride School Leadership and other departments to support and achieve quality targets for the overall success of the Ski & Ride School and Liberty Mountain as whole.
  • Develop Ski and Ride School team through observation of lessons, employee recognition and team building events.
  • Monitor the quality of the guest experience on a daily basis and provide constructive feedback to instructors to help them improve their performance.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Adhere to all safety related programs including policy training and incident reporting.
  • Coordinate with other management, departments, and third-party organizations as needed
  • Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on school operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Communicate, educate and apply the Ski & Ride School Safety Business Plan (morning safety meetings, guest incidents, employee incidents etc.).
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of instructors and deliver on labor management targets.
  • Enter instructor Schedules and paid activity in Pro Connect.
  • Assign instructor day of duty in Pro Connect (for example Adult, Youth, or Children’s Learning Center) and assign lessons at lineup.
  • Be available to assist Liberty Mountain and Liberty Ski & Ride School Guests with any questions relating to the Ski & Ride School and ensuring all guests are satisfied and any issues are resolved promptly.

Requirements:

 

High School Diploma.

  • Ability to read/write and communicate fluently in English.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience working for a Ski and Ride School in a teaching capacity.
  • A minimum of PSIA/AASI level 1 certification.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and use of computers.
  • Exceptional guest service skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
  • Able to meet the physical demands of ski and ride training and drills.

Preferred skills:

  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency with Pro Connect.
  • Proficiency with RPOS.
  • The ability to communicate in Spanish.
  • PSIA/AASI level 2 or 3 certification.

 

The expected pay range is $27.00- $29.94. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
