The evening shift is one that is pivotal to providing the epic level of service for our guests and is responsible for providing genuine and authentic guest service according to brand standards. The evening agent is also responsible for solving all guest issues to the satisfaction of the guest and to the hotels standards.


Essential Job Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow the resort’s etiquette guidelines as mandated in the employee handbook.
  • Check in guests at front desk, confirming and entering appropriate information by asking for an ID card and credit card.
  • Check guests out if they have to leave early and ensure billing is correct.
  • Answer phone calls politely and efficiently to meet and exceed all guest needs and requests.
  • Answer a variety of questions from guests, handle routine issues.
  • Creates accurate keys to guest rooms according to reservations.
  • Complete all additional projects and tasks given by management.
  • Maintain knowledge of events and activities in and around the Gettysburg area.
  • Assist in general maintenance and inventory of Front Office equipment, supplies, and cleanliness of the Front Desk and lobby area.
  • Ability to sustain composure at all times and remain calm during difficult situations using good social manners diplomacy and tact.
  • Complies with all Resort policies, procedures and standards of operation
  • Accurately and timely route all communication during an emergency situation, notifying appropriate personnel.

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Work experience in a guest service facet or hotel preferred
  • Microsoft Office, property management system, General Computing
  • Ability to communicate in English effectively in both written and verbal mediums
  • Ability to work alone and at times supervise other staff members

The budgeted range starts at $15.50, $17.50, $20.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
