Job Summary:

The Assistant Store Manager (ASM), under the supervision of the Store Manager, is responsible for managing all aspects of the shop’s operations.  These duties include, but are not limited to, delivering an exceptional retail experience for our guests by modeling outstanding customer service and presenting a clean and organized sales floor. The ASM is expected to assist the Store Manager in all operational duties, including labor management, safety compliance and price management. The ASM position is responsible for maintaining business standards and has increased decision-making authority. The Assistant Manager will act as a knowledgeable representative of our brand and is expected to foster a positive culture, within the store, with other company departments, and externally with customers and vendors. Fulfills day-to-day work responsibilities for the organization as needed.

 

Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $25.00/hr - $28.04/hr

  • Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2025/2026

  • Shift Type: Full Time hours available

  • Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of 2-10 multi-unit employees
  • Providing consistent and direct feedback, coaching and guidance to team members
  • Designing, executing and tracking training plans
  • Ensuring department and staff have all necessary supplies
  • Create a rewarding environment and generating a positive team atmosphere
  • Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques
  • Communicate ideas or issues with Store and Regional Managers
  • Manage operational budgets and payroll
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends
  • Administrative duties
  • Managing retail inventory

 

Job Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Minimum 2 years leadership experience
  • 2 years in retail and/or rental experience
  • Knowledge and passion for talent development
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  • Must be a team player and be able to handle fast paced stressful environment
  • Possess the desire to offer the highest customer service standards to guests

 

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr - $28.04/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
