Job Summary:

The Expedition Kirkwood Advanced Product Sales Agent for Kirkwood Skier Services will work to sell and communicate regarding programs and other products through our Expedition Kirkwood Center. This position requires excellent, pro-active, outgoing customer service and sales skills, high level of computer input for guest information, and above average attention to detail.  Sales Agents work to sell and up sell available Expedition products and Ski & Ride School products, while helping guests to determine which lessons will best benefit them. In this role you are a key link in communicating with families in our seasonal programs; guests exploring our Backcountry programs and those keen to take their skiing and riding to the next level with our camps and clinics.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet: Expedition Kirkwood
  • Expected Pay Range: $21.00 - $23.26 / hour
  • Shift Availability: Full Time and Part Time
    • Full Time: ​​​​​​​4-5 day work week depending on business volume.  
    • Part time:  2-3 days a week, 3-7 hours per day, holidays and weekends are required and work hours will increase.
    • All staff is required to work all holidays and weekends, which includes 2-3 weeks around each holiday: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s, Presidents, MLK, Easter, school spring breaks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide above and beyond Guest Service while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-passed, vibrant environment.
  • Selling/up selling all Ski School/EK lessons from pre-bookings to walk-up guests
  • Assist in coordinating daily programs, supporting leadership team to successfully deliver each and every program we offer.
  • Process sales in Resort Point of Sale system; provide other tracking in various computer software systems. Gathering and inputting of all customer information in our computer system
  • Collecting and checking release of liabilities for each guest within our programs
  • Compiling of all passes/tickets/lesson report cards, with explanation of each, to the guests
  • Directing guest in their next steps in their daily experience (rentals, lockers, retail stores, lesson meeting areas etc.)
  • Direct guest around the resort and answer guest questions on all resort activities. Communicate clearly and precisely, helping guests to understand all directions.
  • Be an ambassador for My Epic; provide insightful advice and friendly My Epic support to guests in need, and be knowledgeable of where guests can go for additional support.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 

  • Must be 18 years or older.

  • Be a self-starter that is Positive, maintains a proactive work ethic and a desire to sell/up sell Ski and Ride School Products.
  • A passion for skiing and riding is a must and an interest in the backcountry would help a candidate exceed.
  • Must have a firm grasp of computer data entry/sales
  • Must enjoy working directly with guests for a majority of the day.
  • Must be able to arrive to various location around the resort on time, regardless of weather conditions
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office software systems.
  • Be able to work quickly and efficiently on a task oriented job for a portion of the day
  • Ability to work on a team and maintain a positive attitude.
  • Ability to speak, read, and communicate in English.
  • Ability to learn and retain a large product inventory.
  • Ability to learn new computer software systems.

 

The expected pay range is $21.00 - $23.26. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
