Job Specifications: 

  • Starting Wage: $20.93
  • Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20/hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time - Year Round

 

We are looking for a candidate that is positive, self-motivated, detailed oriented, and can lead a quality staff. This is a unique opportunity to join our team at Pennsylvania’s Outdoor Adventure Headquarters, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Inc.  

 

The Special Occasions Administrative Assistant position provides the opportunity for the right candidate to immerse themselves in the organization and facilitation of special occasions including rehearsal dinners, weddings, anniversary parties and showers. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

  • Responsible for assisting the Special Occasions Department for all aspects of events 

  • Respond in a timely manner to all communications associated with the leads and client correspondence 

  • Update reports and documents for the Special Occasions Department including internal files and client Banquet Event Orders 

  • Demonstrate flexibility in meeting potential clients for site visits and for planning meetings prior to the event, at the guest’s convenience, which could include weekend and evening appointments. 

  • Facilitate in setup of events for all three properties, including linens, signs, wedding and event items, as well as other duties passed on by the Special Occasions Manager/Coordinator 

  • Assist in overseeing the coordination of the day’s events 

  • Provide verbal and written communication with Banquet Manager, Special Occasions Coordinator, and other Team members to ensure the client’s expectations are clear and concise in order to deliver an exceptional event 

  • Attend trade shows and keep up on the current market trends including updates to social media (example: Wedding Wire, The Knot, etc) 

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:    

  • Candidates will possess High School Diploma or equivalent 

  • Must be available for work nights, weekends, and holidays 

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and have strong verbal and communication skills. 

  • Candidate must be detail oriented, friendly, helpful and attentive to the needs at hand for both external and internal customers 

  • Must excel in customer service and follow-up skills

Personal Protective Equipment Recommended & Required 

  • Recommended – Footwear that you can comfortably stand or walk in, occasionally on wet surfaces.
