Job Summary:

Retail Supervisor assists the management staff in ensuring operations and functions of the store to attain maximum profitability, productivity, and a world-class guest experience.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Outlet:  Cooper St. - Aspen, CO
  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining and administering operational expectations by following company policies and guidelines
  • Maintain and model tune and cleanliness standards as set forth by the Store and Regional Manager
  • Ensure sales are generated while demonstrating and maintaining an enthusiastic and professional standard of guest service
  • Maintain all company paperwork according to policies and standards
  • Manage inventory control and meet or exceed inventory goals
  • Enforce company cash handling and other Loss Prevention policies and procedures
  • Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Be energetic, motivated and possess the ability to multi-task
  • Communicate ideas or issues with the store manager
  • Travel between stores, specified locations, load and unload daily inventory into company vehicle
  • Account for all merchandise via a delivery log system
  • Operate and maintain standard tools including hand tools, dolly carts, motorized equipment
  • Ensure all necessary tools and supplies are kept in stock and safely locked in authorized location
  • Document and follow all driving and delivery procedures
  • Elevate any safety issues to Management that may occur at a store or designated drop off/pick up locations in a timely manner to ensure that there is neither a loss to the company, or uncontrollable situation with a customer or associate
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess an unexpired U.S. driver’s license – required
  • Must be able to pass MVR requirements set forth by Vail Resorts
  • Maintain a working knowledge of products and trends within the industry
  • 1 year of snow sports retail experience preferred
  • 1 year of management experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English required
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills
  • Multi-task, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights and weekends
  • Attention to detail
  • Safety Conscious ability to lift skis, snowboards, roll ski racks over snow and ice, carry heavy items up and down stairs
  • Must be able to work with heavy machinery
  • Must be willing to drive 14’ box truck in hazardous, winter conditions, in and out of small alleyways
  • Must be able to operate a truck lift gate and load full ski racks onto and off of truck using lift gate

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $24.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
