Job Summary:

  • Lead rental shop daily operations of all rental at Jack Frost Mountain locations.  
  • Supports and supervises rental/repair service techs.
  • Delegates daily job assignments to meet guest needs. 
  • Participates in initiating performance recognition, disciplinary actions and assisting with administrative functions.  This includes the administration of company and department policies and procedures.
  • Participates in the organization and execution of pre-season and on-going training by leading segments of technical training in all areas as required and appropriate. 
  • Performs various specific administrative functions including:  scheduling, inventory record keeping, post-accident record handling, monthly safety inspections and OSHA MSDS manuals. 
  • Assists with hiring, coaching and training staff, working in conjunction with the Retail Staff.
  • Performs all manner of guest equipment testing, tuning, repair, fitting, and adjustment, including pre-season and in-season preparation.
  • Help to organization and manage rental equipment, post-accident testing and is capable of teaching all of these aspects to associates.
  • Provides exceptional guest service by being well-informed through review of company memos, information sheets and contact with other departments and maintaining a helpful and professional demeanor at all times.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Lead daily operations of all rental and storage locations. 
  • Manage and train staff for all aspects of operations. 
  • Works closely with Skier Services to ensure that cashiers are trained to appropriately sell rental services and other products.
  • Support and supervise rental techs and rental cashiers and delegate daily job assignments to meet guest’s needs.
  • Participates in the organization and execution of pre-season and on-going training by leading segments of technical training in all areas as required and appropriate.
  • Manage pre-season, mid-season and accident binding testing as well keeping the rental fleet tuned.
  • Prepare safety inspections monthly and keep the OSHA MSDS manual current.
  • Be aware of financial standing of department and company and assist with budget control.

 

Job Requirements:

  •  Knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office     
  • 1-2 years previous work experience
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience    
  • Fluent English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Able to work holidays, weekends and evenings
