Job Summary:
Service is the foundation of everything we stand for at Vail Resorts and our Lift Operations are no exception to this experience of a lifetime. Responsible for the safe operation of resort lifts, Lift Operations Managers are courteous and knowledgeable leaders with a passion for safety and guest experience.
Job Specifications:
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee all Lift Operations including staffing, training, payroll, budget management, safety audits, and documentation
Ensure completion of daily safety checks, reporting and documentation, assisting with emergency situations and evacuations as necessary
Review lift team performance and behavior to provide meaningful feedback and direction, providing recognition or correction action if necessary
Maintain knowledge of and enforce all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Audit inspection and maintenance all equipment, tools, and facilities
Participate in leadership forums providing feedback and input on operations, training, and continuous improvement opportunities
Assist with guest questions, comments and complaints ensuring timely resolutions
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required; Bachelors Degree in related field preferred
Valid driver’s license required
3-5 years supervisory experience in a related field preferred
Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications
Flexibility to work both inside and outside with exposure to the elements
Must be able to communicate fluently in English
The expected pay range is $41,600 - $62,875. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
