Summary of Job:

The Housing Manager is responsible for their regions housing portfolio. This individual will work with the Sr. Manager of Housing to help execute the Employee Housing strategy to ensure support of our current and future business needs. They will oversee Employee Housing ensuring alignment to provide an Experience of a Lifetime, which includes creating a safe, inclusive, vibrant and affordable housing environment that is compliant with all regulatory requirements. This individual will influence and partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including business leaders, employees, vendors, developers and community resources.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Support and execute on the employee housing strategy driving the Company’s short- and long-term business needs
  • Drive value for the organization and improve the employee and manager experience related to housing 
  • Manage and deliver standardized, best-practices, across the enterprise aligned with an enterprise-wide strategy
  • Improve experience for residents/employees and housing staff while driving the seasonal Employee Value Proposition
  • Manage day-to-day operations of their employee housing portfolio, bed allocations, bed offers and placement, revenue management, and performance metrics
  • Manage software training programs for local resort and ensure standard use of the system
  • Responsible for residents signing legal documents 
  • Create a safe, fun and diverse housing culture that helps provide employees an experience of a lifetime
  • Manage complex internal relationships including local Housing Teams, Housing Champions, HRBP’s, COO’s 
  • Manage external relationships with master leases, community partners, mental health resources and law enforcement
  • Supports the employee wellness strategies in Employee Housing ensuring alignment with Company vision  
  • Ensure clear communication with all stakeholders including VR leadership and housing teams and residents 

 

Job Requirements:

  • University/College Degree Preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience in property management or related fields 
  • Development and implementation of company-wide programs 
  • Software system maintenance and training
  • Revenue management 
  • Data management 
  • Experience managing teams greater than 10 people
  • Experience working with remote teams
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Excel, Teams and PowerPoint. 
  • StarRez or other room management software programs experience preferred.
  • Ability to align key stakeholders around a vision and to make timely recommendations based on insight, data, and influence.

 

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $80,000 - $85,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
