Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus:

The lead driver is responsible for all operational functions of demand-responsive, fixed route, and special event transportation. The Lead Driver supervises and manages driving staff of approximately 8-15 drivers in a fast paced, guest service oriented team environment. The lead driver is a self-starting individual who doesn’t react, but observes, orients, decides, and acts quickly and efficiently to accomplish the job.
Responsibilities:
- Builds, maintains, and executes the day-to-day transportation schedule to include random special-resort needed transports. In addition, manages the Employee Shuttle Driver(s) schedule and fills in when needed.
- Monitors and documents all policy violations, performance issues, guest and employee commendations/comments/complaints.
- Coordinates maintenance needs of all vehicle fleet with internal vehicle maintenance shop and external contractors.
- Makes regular contact with employees to ensure maximum shift coverage using either online scheduling database or other means as necessary.
- Responds to, manages, and documents accidents and emergencies involving all Transportation equipment to include Shuttle busses, Jitneys, and any other applicable vehicles.
- Monitors road and traction conditions. Keeps all drivers aware of any needed traction sand and traction devices – throughout the entire day or event evolution.
- Mentors, trains, and coaches transportation employees on a daily basis.
- Facilitates and attends all monthly team meetings.
- Must be able to cover dispatching, driving, training shifts as needed.
- Any/all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Hold and maintain California Class A, B CDL with applicable passenger endorsement - required
- Satisfactory driving record - required
- Working knowledge of office hardware and software - required
- 2 years department-specific experience – preferred
- 1 year supervisory experience – required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously - required
- Exemplary guest service skills – required
- Ability to live On-mountain – preferred
- Able and willing to work a flexible schedule as needed – required
- Able to work continuously through the winter season without extended vacations – required
- Ability to pass random drug tests – required
The expected pay range is $20.00 - $26.44. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
