  • The budgeted range starts at $67,500 - $83,730.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.

Job Summary:

Come help tackle IT challenges in a high energy, fast paced environment by becoming an Information Technology Supervisor for Vail resorts. This is an outstanding opportunity for a hand’s-on leader who can manage, support, and provide training to infrastructure technology staff.

The work environment requires a positive, upbeat, innovative, and energetic attitude. Successful candidates will have a desire to make a difference and will be a champion for the needs of their staff. If you are an experienced problem solver with a background in IT infrastructure that understands the importance of development, leadership, community, and having fun then you could thrive in this role.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive attitude while solving IT challenges, enjoying the benefits of working for a ski company and having fun in a manner that encourages coworkers to do the same.
  • Lead a small team of technology professionals in an effort to accomplish goals and encourage continuous growth and development.
  • Coordinate support for the local resort, managing to established service levels and coordinating with local business leaders.
  • Demonstrate ownership of enterprise infrastructure technology environment by maintaining asset inventory, conducting preventative maintenance, and ensuring accuracy of documentation.
  • Suggest and support implementation of new ideas for improving user support and the guest experience.

 

Job Requirements:

  • Positive, enthusiastic, and friendly.
  • Solution oriented with desire to learn new skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure support needs within an enterprise environment, with a focus on enterprise systems. Ski industry knowledge preferred.
  • Able to demonstrate a people-first mentality when leading the team, tapping into employees' passions and helping to shape their development within the company.
  • Able to form strong partnerships with business leaders
  • The ability to develop basic project plans, understanding project requirements, ensuring vendor engagement, ensuring cross-functional teams meet deadlines, and reporting on progress.
  • Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time.
  • Able to move 50 lbs (with assistance if needed).
  • Should be able to work a schedule that can include weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at intermediate level, or desire to learn.
  • Valid US driver’s license
  • CompTIA A+ certification is required within 12 months of hire date

 

 

The expected pay range is $67,500 - $83,730. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
