We have employee housing available for full-time winter employees on a limited basis in some but not all of our resort communities. Because housing fills up rapidly, it’s not available to all employees. Once you’re hired, you can also follow our employee resort social media channels to connect with other new employees and see if anyone is looking for a roommate or house. Access to employee housing through Vail Resorts is a benefit that we are able to provide to many employees within our resort communities. We have always prioritized the health and safety of employees within housing and this year we are taking further actions to ensure a focus on physical, social and mental wellbeing.

We are prioritizing providing clean and safe living arrangements and ensuring everyone in housing commits to personal accountability for the safety of the community. We believe we can create a safe environment by relying on each other to act in a responsible manner.

Roommates & Move-In

We have invested in new systems and processes to ensure we are better matching roommates with similar personal schedules and interests knowing everyone will be spending more time in their residences.

Employee housing will implement a COVID-19 testing process during the start of the winter season. All new residents will need to provide a negative test result upon moving into housing.

Clean & Safe Living

Entrance to employee housing will be limited to residents only.

No “parties” or other large gatherings will be allowed.

Hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout common areas at our housing properties.

Cleaning of common areas including communal kitchens will be a priority and occur more often. Seating in communal areas will be rearranged to provide 6 feet of distance between individuals or they will be closed if this cannot be facilitated.

We will encourage everyone to obtain a flu shot and will be providing access to free flu shots in early season.

We will continue to provide robust mental health resources through Epic Wellness, with a focus on supporting employees through the new challenges resulting from COVID-19.

Community & Connection

We will provide opportunities for social connection in new ways that align with our policies and practices around safety.

We will be setting clear expectations for residents as to how everyone is expected to behave in order to best protect our community.
