  • The budgeted range starts at $20.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.


Job Summary:

Oversight of pro shop and facility including but not limited to assistance with hiring and oversight of shop staff, purchase and sale of retail, support teaching professionals. Running and balancing daily reports, crafting PO’s for retail, receiving retail, tagging, and submitting invoices for payment.

Job Responsibilities:
-  Assist with hiring of inside staff. This includes posting positions, interviewing, mentoring and providing input to Activities Manager on staff performance appraisals

-  Schedule, train, and lead pro shop staff to ensure the highest level of guest service

-  Partner with Club Director and Tennis Director on budget and maintain labor and expense budge

-  Retail – working with vendors to place orders; build PO’s and barcodes; tag merchandise, receive merchandise/submit invoices monthly physical inventory

-  Oversight of early season set up of shop; at end of season removal of outside equipment 

-  Running and submitting Pro lessons taught each pay period and payroll submissions. 

-  Maintaining court books including booking events/clinics, and private lessons

-  Billing all attendees at events

-  Payroll – input and approval hourly labor

-  Build or assist with weekly tennis newsletter, and maintenance of Facebook page

-  Billing St. James per agreement for owner/guest usage

- Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

-  High school diploma or equivalent

-  Previous club and/or experience working with high net worth guests

-  Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Procurement, RPOS,

-  English Proficient

-  Strong administrative skills including computer proficiency and other office equipment
-  1-2 years of Supervisory Experience 

-  Strong interpersonal communication and relationship development


The budgeted range starts at $20.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
