Job Summary:

Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Village Operations, the Senior Analyst, Association Accounting leads the accounting and finance function and property management for 5 Vail Resorts managed Village/Neighborhood Associations including Bachelor Gulch Village Association, Arrowhead at Vail Association, Red Sky Ranch Association, Strawberry Park Owners Association and the Village at Arrowhead.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Present financials at all Association Board of Director meetings
  • Review month end financials and ensure all month-end accruals and prepaid expenses are appropriate
  • Create all manual Journal Entries
  • Process all invoices, purchase orders, vendor set-ups and repeat payments
  • Manage Accounts Receivable function
  • Manage the Treasury function and banking relationships
  • Assist Base Area Operations/Association Management with the preparation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Work with external auditors on annual financial audits
  • Work with Association Treasurers on ad hoc reporting and financials review
  • Work with Vail Resorts Shared Services to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial records
  • Review monthly departmental cost allocations
  • Track and collect Civic Association payments
  • Track and ensure receipt of all Real Estate Transfer fees
  • Track and reconcile Design Review Board deposits and refunds


Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree in finance or accounting
  • 6 + years of relevant experience in accounting, experience with HOAs preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills, QuickBooks, PeopleSoft
  • Strong budgeting and accounting knowledge 

The budgeted range starts at $70,000 - $88,950 + annual bonus.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
