Job Summary:

Support all administrative and payroll operations of the Ski & Snowboard School to include but not limited to all instructor onboarding, payroll entry, data entry, tracking, and reporting operations.

 

Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure all administrative needs of the Ski and Ride School are met such as ordering, data entry, reporting, filing and staff communications.
  • Manage payroll and timekeeping entry and auditing ensuring timely corrections for discrepancies, escalating concerns as necessary to management 
  • Support hiring team with recruitment and onboarding process, including participation in recruitment, and hiring events, coordinating interviews, orientation, paperwork, and training
  • Support Training team with reporting, tracking, and scheduling 
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of Ski and Ride School business office.  
  • Assist employees with questions regarding HR related issues maintaining confidentiality when working with sensitive information.   
  • Assist Ski School leadership team in the creation of reports/documents/presentations, and preparation for meetings.
  • Assist Department Managers with Time & Labor and payroll issues as needed.
  • Ordering of supplies, materials, tools & equipment through Coupa or other VRI approved systems and policies.
  • Monitors payroll and HR systems, ensuring accurate and timely compensation for all Ski and Snowboard School employees. 
  • Assists in leading and training the Administrative Assistants and Supervisor team for Ski and Snowboard School. 
  • Tracks all compliance with Federal, State, County and local employment policies and codes, including hiring I-9 compliance, seasonal separations, etc.
  • Assist in Resort operations as needed, including, but not limited to operating surface lifts, scanning, etc. 

 

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED, some college preferred
  • 1+ Years of previous administrative experience
  • Advanced knowledge and ability to use computer software (MS Word, Outlook, Power Point, Smart Sheet, Teams, Excel, etc.) to handle work involving accounting data, project timelines, and other applications that may be necessary to support the Ski and Ride School
  • Strong foresight and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to administratively support the Ski and Snowboard School Departments and Managers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Fluent English Language skills.

 

The expected pay range is $21.57 - $25.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
