The Intermediate Maintenance Technician performs skilled maintenance work in at many of the following areas: electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, mechanical, equipment operation, cabinet/countertop/trim/drywall installation, HVAC, etc. Assists in training and instructing entry level staff. Typically, has a minimum of 4 years experience.

 

 

Job Specifications:  

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 -  $24.49
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round
  • Skill Level: Intermediate 

 

Job duties include, but are limited to:

  • Assists the Chief Engineer with more complex tasks
  • Responsible for general maintenance and preventative maintenance of the property.  Perform daily rounds-check boilers, common areas, sprinkler systems, fire pump room, fire panels.
  • Can lead the lower level techs on preventative maintenance project. 
  • Attend to any work orders, guest requests, housekeeping requests, and front desk requests
  • Complete assigned tasks in a safe, timely manner
  • Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed
  • Maintain records of all work activities and support materials
  • Provide for safe disposal of all waste material
  • Maintain tools and work area in safe, secure and efficient manner
  • Work with other departments as needed

 

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma - required
  • At least 4 year of maintenance experience - required
  • Possess valid US driver’s license - required
  • Able to read, write, and speak English - required
  • Able to lift 50lbs - required
  • Able to stand for 4-6 hours at a time - required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - preferred
  • Some college - preferred
  • Must have good communication skills and enjoy working with the public

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $24.49. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
