Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus:

Job Summary:

Provide direct supervision and maintenance of the ice rink and the rental shop operations.  Must be able to adjust to changing needs of BCRC and Vail Resorts.  Able to work in all conditions keeping ice when warm and removing snow when needed.  Provide a fun safe atmosphere for guests and employees.

• Expected Pay Range: The budgeted range starts at $55,000.00 - $60,000.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time / Year Round
• Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain a safe, professional environment at the ice rink and rental shop.
• Perform routine ice maintenance with resurfacing equipment.
• Rent skates, run register, and monitor finances received at rental shop.
• Manage rink/rental attendants and operations of the rink and rental shop in a professional manner.
• Keep a record of ice conditions and incidents at the ice rink.
• Managerial duties, (hiring, scheduling, disciplining, ordering etc…).
• Perform routine maintenance on resurfacing equipment, (battery checks, greases Zamboni, etc.) and arranges for more extensive repairs.
• Respond to customer service issues in a professional manner.
• Work with BCRC for accounting and special events
• Maintain summer schedule ice, turf, and events
• Maintain fire pits and surrounding area
• Skate maintenance and sharpening
• Work with Base Ops to help with event execution
• Restart escalators
• Other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications:

• BA preferred   
• 2 years of rink operation experience
• 2 years in a supervisory position
• Valid CO Drivers License
• Microsoft Office
• English fluency
• Skating background
• Spanish speaking preferred

The expected pay range is $55,000.00 - $60,000.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
