Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills, plus strong communication skills required. Will manage a staff up to 8 employees. Will take over day-to-day operations of the department with help from the Director of Engineering.  A hands-on approach is required to satisfy the job requirements of the Maintenance Manager. 
  • Willingness to work with contractors and vendors to negotiate best possible outcome on pricing and schedules.   
  • Train employees to housing standards, by keeping knowledgeable of company and industry standards.
  • Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office, HVAC, Kitchen and Central Plant operations. 
  • Ensure personal and staff knowledge of housing operational procedures and business levels (arrivals/departures)  to ensure work orders are scheduled and completed in a timely manner 
  • Lead staff meetings ensuring employees are informed and aligned with current needs / procedures 
  • Ensure compliance of all company and regulatory procedures, operations and codes 
  • Manage any work orders, employee requests and housekeeping requests as they relate to Maintenance
  • Maintain records of all work activities and support materials
  • Responsible for day to day operations, prioritization and scheduling of work orders
  • Provide Maintenance reports / updates to other departments as needed.
  • Work with outside contractors to provide necessary improvements or maintenance as directed.
  • Responsible for ordering parts and items necessary for repair of building and units.  
  • Oversee the training, coaching and talent management of maintenance staff.
  • Duties may include; appliance repair/replacement, HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical, sheetrock repair/replacement, plumbing, painting, general carpentry, housekeeping, pest control, landscaping, irrigation repair, and snow removal
  • Responsible for budget and forecast guidance and adherance as it relates to the Housing portfolio 
  • Inspection of all building and life-safty systems to ensure minimum downtime, expense and discomfort to employees
  • Ensure employees maintain safe conditions and procedures in work areas and other associated areas.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:

  • Technical school or equivalent related experience preferred.   

  • Requires a minimum of 3-5 years of Management and Maintenance experience in a similar position. 

  • 1-2 years supervisory experience

  • Valid CO. License and at least 1 certification preferred (Electrical, Mechanical or plumbing). Licenses, or certifications in related field of work. 

  • Proficient computer skills required.

  • Ability to Read, Write, and Speak English. Spanish Preferred.

  • Basic plumbing skills, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.  Willing to work with changing shift schedules 

  • Able to work in all environments (indoor/outdoor) and weather conditions

 

The expected pay range is $68,545.70 - $90,000 + annual bonus. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
