The Beaver Creek Summer Activities Department is actively accepting applications for an Activities Maintenance Technician to provide repairs upkeep and preventative maintenance as requested across the various events at the resort.  As an integral member of the maintenance team, you must have the ability to make competent decisions while thinking of the customers and resorts interest at all times, using skill-based knowledge to perform assigned tasks in a professional manner with focus on efficiency and quality of work.  People skills planning, execution, control, communication are essential in completing tasks efficiency and keeping the department informed on work status.  You will be responsible for a 4 person bungee trampoline, a 35 foot climbing wall, 18 hole mini-golf course, gem panning, and a small kids ropes course.


Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the integrity of the resort assets are maintained.
  • Abide by all safety rules and regulations from corporate, State and Federal.
  • Implement preventative maintenance programs for events and equipment.
  • Coordinate projects with sub-contractors when required.
  • Order and maintain stock for critical equipment for assigned areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and alert supervisor to any unsafe conditions that may exist.
  • Work with other departments and area managers as required.
  • Keep hand tools in a safe functional manner at all times.
  • Maintain job logs updated daily, weekly and annual.
  • Assist in the training of entry-level techs.
  • Repair and replace parts if needed.
  • Good knowledge in general mechanics, electrical and troubleshooting.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements of work methods, safety and materials use.
  • Knowledgeable on Lock out tag out procedure, OSHA, EPA and MSDS.
  • Planning, organizing and controlling are key attributes.
  • Attend training classes for job specific skills.
  • Maintain good attitude and people skills even during high-pressure situations, be a good leader.
