Job Summary:

The lead role at Hawks Nest Cabin, a new teen center in Beaver Creek, will be able to organize teen programing, oversee the facility and daily operations when the supervisor is absent.  Be able to create signature nonalcoholic drinks and other games/programs for 10-18 year olds.  Be responsible for the collection of signed waivers, admission fees, bar and merchandise sales.  May assist with other activity programing within the scope of the Beaver Creek Resort Company.

• Starting Wage: $23.00 - $24.26 / hour
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round (10 months)
• Skill Level: Team Lead

 
Job Responsibilities:  

• Supervise facility, staff and guests, ability to enforce policy and guidelines when on duty
• Some experience behind a bar and serving guests and working with a point of sales system
• Establish a safety culture with facility and ensure policies are followed
• Pre pare signature drinks and oversee the cleanliness and efficiencies of bar area according to health codes
• Resolve any guest issues as they arise with minimal supervision
• Perform daily sales and closing POS and be held responsible for HNC end of day point of sale audits
• Be able to navigate high tech interactive games and technology
• effectively communicates, and works, with the program manager and  Director and all other Beaver Creek departments needed for partnership in a successful operation.
• Handles any parents concerns for children in the HNC while MOD
• Maintains a safe working environment for all associates and guests; participates in all safety initiatives
• Performs all other related duties as assigned or requested

 
Job Requirements: 

• High school required, College preferred  
• Guest service experience, cash handling or sales experience - required
• 2-3 years supervisory experience - preferred
• Ability to learn POS and other internal software systems as needed
• Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English - required
• Ability to stay calm in busy and stressful situations - required
• People skills, public speaking

The expected pay range is $23.00 - $24.26. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
