The essential function of this job is to provide administrative support to the Beaver Creek Lift Maintenance Team and playing a key role in providing an experience of a lifetime for the Lift Maintenance Team.  This position is also involved with supporting the Lift Dispatch and Mountain Operations teams. 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General office and administrative duties, which includes; filing, answering emails and phone in professional courteous manner
  • Assist with hiring/onboarding process for new and returning seasonal Lift Maintenance team members
  • Responsible for overseeing, processing, and auditing team payroll
  • Manage team time to ensure accurate payroll calculations, payroll corrections and input
  • Support Lift Maintenance training and other compliance documentation
  • Provide ongoing communication with Lift Maintenance and Lift Operations staff (Newsletters, mailings, tracking, reports, etc.)
  • Liaison with corporate and intra-resort stakeholders to ensure Best Practices are followed.
  • Responsible to learn and acquire working knowledge of systems (Microsoft Office, Peoplesoft, People Connect, Direct Connect, Teams, Share Point, ELKE, Coupa, etc…)
  • Maintain new and returning staff files
  • Assist with budget and capital expense tracking. Maintain up to date financial tracking and reporting
  • Oversee Lift Maintenance uniform program including uniform ordering and cleaning
  • Purchasing, procurement, and invoicing resolution including monthly accrual review
  • Assist the Director of Lift Maintenance and the leadership team as needed
  • Perform and assist lift dispatch as required. Oversee safety of those operations on service ride, relay messages to on –mountain personal, log events in a timely manner
  • Act professionally and maintain confidentiality at all times

REQUIRED:

  • 18 years or older 
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must be able to multi-task and work through interruptions
  • Must have office experience 
  • Must have guest service experience
  • Must be organized, process, and detail oriented 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications 
  • Able to read, write, speak, understand and comprehend English fluently  

 

PREFERRED:

  • Knowledge of Vail Resorts systems and software programs
  • Previous Mountain Operations, Lift Dispatch, administrative, and/or human resources experience 

The expected pay range is $21.63 - $32.93. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
