The Pool Attendant will oversee the outdoor swimming pool & whirlpool operations as well as indoor whirlpool operations.  Duties include: Opening and/or closing of pool, performing water quality/chemical level checks on pool and whirlpools, monitoring pool/whirlpool throughout shift for safety and cleanliness.  Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing a positive attitude and service with a smile to members and guests
  • Arriving on time in a clean and professionally presentable uniform for each shift
  • Greeting members and guest by name whenever possible
  • Engaging members & guests in appropriate conversation
  • Cooperating with other staff members by assisting them as needed
  • Is professional at all times when discussing the Alpine Club or Vail Resorts
  • Assisting member/guest with requests and answer questions promptly and courteously
  • Complying with Alpine Club facility usage policies and all Vail Resorts policies and procedures
  • Performing responsibilities required for the daily operation of the pool area, including restroom cleaning, pool and hot tub tile line cleaning, pool furniture set up and cleaning, pool deck sweeping and power washing.
  • Responsible for food and beverage set up and food server related tasks involved with pool side lunch service
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Must be 18 years of age or older - required
  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • Responsible self-starter with no reservations in completing the physical activities and tasks required of the job - required
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions - required
  • Able to lift and carry 50 lbs - required
  • Able to stand for long periods of time - required
  • Able to communicate effectively in English - required
  • Be able to work independently and take direction - required
  • In person interview - required

The budgeted range starts at 16-17.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
