Job Summary:

Beaver Creek Resort Company (BCRC) events will perpetuate the vision of being the number one luxury family resort in the world. This will be accomplished by offering rarefied experiences to guests through world-class and engaging events, activities, and animations in Beaver Creek Village, during both peak and off peak season.

 

The overarching goal of the Programming Coordinator is to support winter and summer village activations, entertainment, and attractions through guidance and collaboration with the Director of Events and Director or Strategic Initiatives. As operations and spaces change in the village the Program Coordinator will eventually work with newly developed Activities Manager team to elevate the village program offerings and structures.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 / Hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time

 

Under the direction of the Director of Events, the primary duties of the Programming Coordinator are as follows:

  • Assist in the setup, execution, and teardown of our ongoing, weekly family activities and performances.
  • Support Event Managers in onsite event execution for community and signature events.
  • Oversee the inventory and organization of event storage spaces.
  • Brand representative - expected to represent high expectations of the company and brand conducting business while interacting with integrity and keeping the best interest of BCRC in mind

 

Qualifications:

  • Outstanding work ethic. The Coordinator must be willing to work odd hours, do manual labor (event planning requires a lot of hands-on, physical work including site set-up/take-down, taking supplies to/from storage facilities, etc.), and work through the elements (events go on – rain or shine – or snow!).
  • Ability to prioritize and follow through. It is important to be able to prioritize projects, ask for direction when needed and follow through on the completion of tasks.
  • Self-motivated/Self-sufficient.  Our department is extremely busy year-round and the Coordinator will be expected to take on a lot of responsibility and work independently without supervision.
  • Good teamwork skills.  Although the Coordinator will be expected to work on his/her own for much of the time, he/she will also constantly be interacting with the rest of the event team members and other members of other departments.
  • Excellent organizational skills.  Being detail oriented and very organized is essential to the success of this position. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. When unforeseen obstacles arise, the Coordinator must be able to problem-solve in the moment.  
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel).
  • Positive attitude.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and will perform manual labor as part of the job duties.
  • Position works outside in the elements, winter, and summer, snow, wind, rain or heat.
  • Knowledge of Beaver Creek Village is preferred

 

The expected pay range is $20 - $22. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
