As a Wildcat Mountain Vehicle Maintenance Mechanic, it is your responsibility to execute our safety best practices to the best of your ability, as well as maintain a friendly and positive attitude every day, with all guests and employees. We are an internal based guest service department we want to make sure we leave our customers with a positive experience.

Our Fleet:

  • Piston Bully and Prinoth Snowcats
  • Polaris and Ski-Doo Snowmobiles
  • Heavy Equipment such as Bull Dozer, Excavator and small backhoe
  • 4 wheelers and UTV’s
  • Light Duty Trucks
  • Small Engine Equipment including generators, welderators and chainsaws
  • Sullair air compressors


Job Responsibilities:

General duties:

  • Report to work on time when scheduled.
  • Report to work in proper dress or uniform and groomed appropriately.
  • Observe all employee rules and regulations.
  • Observe all applicable safety standards.
  • Demonstrate positive attitude, especially in area of customer service.


 Job specific duties:

  • Gas / Diesel Engine Repair and Diagnosis
  • Drive Train Repair and Diagnosis
  • Electrical Repair and Diagnosis
  • Brake System Repair and Diagnosis
  • Steering and Suspension Repair and Diagnosis
  • Preventative Maintenance on Fleet Vehicles
  • Snow Cat Fleet Maintenance, Repair and Diagnosis
  • Shop Cleanliness
  • Spill Prevention
  • Snow making pump operation and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.



 Job Requirements:


  • Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years vehicle maintenance experience specific to the types of vehicles in our fleet.
  • Must have own tools and be willing to purchase more as necessary.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Must Have or obtain a valid driver’s license / clean DMV record. 
  • Must have the ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (primary shop is on-mountain and work is often outdoors) 
  • Must be able to work holidays and weekends and on-call.
  • Must be willing to be on call during snowmaking and grooming season.
  • Must have high school degree or equivalent.
  • Follow all shop safety practices and dress code.
  • Communicate with department heads and employees regarding equipment problems and repairs.
  • Document all work done and parts on work orders.
  • Visual acuity necessary to perform work and operate machines where the seeing job is at or within arm’s reach and also to perform inspection and maintenance tasks on equipment at a distance close to the eye.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing weather environment.
  • Ability to follow directives and complete tasks.
  • Ability to perform physical activities including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
