Job Summary:

Drive the strategy and success of the Whistler Blackcomb and Stevens Pass Reservations department including destination 3rd party and owned and operated sales for Whistler Blackcomb and Stevens Pass Resorts. Serve as a thought leader and line of business expert in cross functional teams. Keep a pulse on industry trends, out front of our competition and find new ways to move the business forward.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generate sales, demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest Identify business strategies, develop milestones and timelines, follow through on execution and objectively measure success of initiatives.
  • Work with internal and external suppliers and marketing teams to achieve companywide goals regarding upsell, data capture and advanced purchase.
  • As a destination sales organization, continuously work to build partnerships and grow inventory, balancing the interests of Vail Resorts and community stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with IT to optimize Reservations and telephony systems. Empower employees by establishing, documenting, and continuously improving standard operating procedures.
  • Develop a team of high performing employees, ranging from entry level non-manager to mid-level manager, focusing on growth, leadership and bench strength.
  • Oversee the success of the department as a line of business and lead the budgeting process, which includes reconciling the budget monthly against actuals and forecasts for the remaining year.
  • Work with hospitality marketing teams to develop strategic offers for two resort destinations.
  • Foster a culture of guest service that demonstrates excellence in guest recovery and elevation.

Job Requirements:

  • 4 years college, Degree or Relatable Experience
  • Call Center & Hospitality/Customer Service
  • Supervisory Experience
  • Computer Skills: Inntopia, Guest Connect, Microsoft Office
  • Flexible Schedule, exceptional time management, communication, customer service


  • Multi tasking, ability to change priorities quickly
