Summary of Job:

Act as first point-of-contact for our internal and external customers for issues related to ordering, deliveries, inventory and transportation, responding in a timely and helpful manner to investigation into invoices, and supplier deliveries. You will work behind the scenes, connecting with our internal restaurants and external F&B suppliers, keep the accounts up-to-date and helping co-ordinate payments for our suppliers. This job is perfect for someone who likes variety and is comfortable both sitting at a computer and on their feet, doing physical, manual work, moving between both F&B warehouse and purchasing office while enjoying the mountains


Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of operational support for the F&B warehouse – receiving, shipping, proper storage, handling and rotating of perishable and non-perishable stock
  • Liaise with the F&B Purchasing Office and our (internal) customers for issues related to invoices, stock control, inventory management, distribution, transportation, inter-unit transactions, and recycling
  • Maintain cleanliness of loading bays, fridges and garbage areas
  • Complete receiving, shipping, temperature and recycling logs on a daily basis and as required
  • Perform order entry and correct coding system tasks including order acceptance and entry, purchase order receiving, transfer/requisition handling, receiving product into Coupa (our in-house procurement system), plus related filing and archiving
  • Ensure daily communication with all involved stakeholders, including but not limited to, outside suppliers, other business units, the F&B warehouse, and coworkers
  • Manage the electronic mailbox for customer requests; Answer the phone and handle customer requests
  • Problem-Solving and taking on whatever issues arise to provide optimum service to our units and suppliers
  • Accurately execute daily processes and controls in a timely manner while ensuring company policies are followed

Job Requirements:

  • Understanding of warehouse, dispatch, shipping and accounting processes and procedures
  • The ability to lift 50lb and experience with operation of pallet jacks will be an asset, though not mandatory
  • Proven organizational and prioritization skills to deal with multiple tasks, tight deadlines and demanding customers
  • Knowledge in technology with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, previous exposure to Coupa Procurement system is a bonus
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, effective written & verbal communication skills, and strong attention to detail
