The primary focus of this position is to confirm product and recognise receiving errors. Managing a busy store room, including filing documentation and entering stock replenishment orders is a daily requirement. As part of the Operations Distribution team, you will ensure a high level of customer service and efficiency to ensure materials are available to all user departments as required.

 

Duties:

•             To continually strive to exceed our Guest’s expectations and to create memories for guests and staff as the best mountain experience again and again

•             Day to day operation of a parts distribution facility.

•             Receipt of shipments against purchase orders on a computer based parts inventory system.

•             Generate electronic replenishment re-orders to ensure supply is available.

•             Review of demand history, lead times and availability to determine reorder levels.

•             Expediting shipments/transfers to and from other Branches.

•             Process vendor returns and shipments of items being sent externally for repair.

•             Provide counter service and issue inventory and non-inventory goods.

•             Coordinate transport of material to alpine locations.

•             Perform physical inventory counts and reconciliation of variances against computer balances.

•             Perform physical inventory of bulk fuels and lubricants.

•             Perform inspections of fuel depots, perform general housekeeping duties and report need for maintenance.

•             Monitor bulk-fuel tank levels, reconcile daily or weekly inventory and ensure availability.

•             Attend supplier fuel deliveries and ensure due process and procedure is taken to minimize risk.

•             Respond to fuel/oil spills as required.

•             Assist in identification and sourcing of parts.  Perform Article Maintenance is our ERP system.

•             Organize and maintain a neat, clean and orderly storeroom.

•             Operate vehicles required for material transfers including forklifts, skidoos, ATV’s and trucks.

•             Maintain HAZ MAT locations.  Advise/Organise recycling of material as required.

•             Update fuel consumption reports for Maintenance & Operations division purposes.

•             Assist other areas of the company as required.

 

 

Qualifications:

•             Demonstrate our core values: Safety First, Striving to be the best, and showing that we care

•             Minimum of 2 years’ experience as automotive, heavy equipment, electrical or industrial supply parts clerk.

•             Excellent communication &computer skills - experience with Inventory/Parts Management systems.

•             Must possess valid class 5 BC driver’s license, satisfactory driver’s abstract and be a minimum age of 19 to drive Company vehicles (21yrs for short-term lease vehicles)

•             Forklift, mountain truck, skidoo, ATV Operator, W.H.M.I.S., & T.D.G. training certificates (will provide)

•             Physically capable of lifting heavy weights. (Up to 50 lbs.)

•             Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check.
