This customer service position will work on a call center team to book reservations for our B2B platform supporting our partners that book via external channels. This is a great entry level position for someone interested in starting a career and growing with our company. Currently a remote position as office restrictions are in place but may be required to work from nearest Vail Resorts office location once restrictions are lifted. 

 

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide guidance and troubleshooting for partners and tour operators using online booking portal (VRPP) 
  • Manage and maintain organization of shared inbox, replying to partner and internal emails
  • Book, modify and cancel tour operator and partner bookings ensuring accuracy
  • Engage in first phase of problem resolution regarding partner/ tour operator complaints
  • Provide feedback for Sales Managers regarding partner/ TO accounts
  • Communicate effectively with various other departments within Vail and WB to resolve issues and process bookings/ modifications
  • Report any discrepancies found on the partner/ internal booking systems, and any related websites etc. to ensure accuracy and consistency of information
  • Participate in additional ad hoc projects as needed

 

Qualifications:

  •         Must be customer-focused
  •        Excellent verbal and written communication skills – required
  •         Spanish as a second language a great plus. – Not required
  •         Perform work with a high degree of accuracy - required
  •         Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed - required
  •         Familiarity with Vail Resorts family of destinations - preferred
  •         Knowledge of Guest Connect - preferred
  •         Knowledge of Inntopia - preferred
  •         A positive and professional attitude is essential
  •         Enthusiasm for the travel industry is a plus
  •         Able to work on a computer for long periods of time
  •       Willingness to focus on personal development and adapting to ever changing situations is a key to being successful on this team.

 

 

 The budgeted range starts at $20.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
