Nestled just below Eagle's Nest and just above the Game Creek chair lift, Game Creek Restaurant is a truly unique location, with a private, members-only lunch balanced with a gourmet dinner program.  Dining at Game Creek is an exceptional experience where guests overlook the beautiful Game Creek Bowl and either ski in for lunch or ride a snowcat for dinner. This breathtaking European chalet-style restaurant is Vail Mountain’s signature fine dining location.  A truly unique dining venue, Game Creek Restaurant is open exclusively for Game Creek Club Members during lunch. 

 

Expectations of lunch servers at Game Creek are to learn members' expectations and exceed them, deliver timely and exceptional service, and work with the Game Creek Club concierge staff to accommodate member needs.

Servers are responsible for providing exceptional guest service in a fine dining, professional, and enjoyable dining environment.  Lunch servers work daytime hours from approximately 9:30am to 4:30pm.  Full time positions are 5 shifts per week, and part time is a minimum commitment to 2 shifts per week.

 

Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Will perform daily setup and cleaning duties, including, but not limited to stocking, polishing silver, glass and dishware; setting, bussing and clearing tables; trash and recycling removal; expediting food; serving food and drinks; waiting tables; bussing; and any other duties assigned
  • Servers monitor table fire times and perform accurate silverware placement for multiple-course meals
  • Servers must have explicit knowledge of the menus and be able to make recommendations as well as answer questions regarding dish preparations and bar selections

 

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent - required.
  • Must be available to work lunches - required.
  • At least 2 years previous waiting experience - required.
  • Must have fine dine experience as well as working knowledge of wine and beverage service – preferred..
  • Must have or obtain valid TiPS certification upon employment (will provide training) - required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older - required.
  • Must be fluent in English - required.
  • Must be able to stand for 8+ hours - required.
  • Must be able to lift and carry 40+ lbs - required.
  • Previous work experience in a private club – preferred.
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays including: Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, December 26th through January 2nd, Presidents’ Day Weekend, and any other holidays as requested - required.
  • ServSafe or Food Handler’s Card (or ability to obtain) – required.

 

 

 

 

The budgeted range starts at $9.30+Tips.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
