Electricity and electrical control circuits are the primary source of power and control of modern machines and technology. Work in the field of electronics requires proper equipment and training to protect personnel from the hazards in maintaining electrical equipment. Electrical work in the ski lift industry ranges from small signals around 10mA, to distribution systems of 480VAC.

 

 

Knowledge of the following are recommended:

  • Advanced electrical theory and principles
  • Advanced troubleshooting
  1. Circuit tracing-panel navigation
  2. Advanced meter/scope usage
  • Ability to troubleshoot automation equipment
  • Electrical energy supply and distribution
  • NEC code

 

 

General requirements:

  • Education: High school education or equivalent, AA degree or equivalent in electronics
  • Computer Operations: Basic working knowledge of desktop computer systems and applications
  • Licenses: Obtain Colorado Driver’s License following job acceptance
  • Language Ability: Read, write and speak English
  • Ski or Ride Ability: Intermediate

 

 

The budgeted range starts at $20.00 - $26.20.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
