Job Summary:

The Hospitality & Mountain Event Coordinator arranges, coordinates and communicates all aspects of group business after the sales process has been completed for day group business, lodging only business and other groups assigned as needed to support the rest of the Conference Services team. This position will work with clients in detailing the needs of meetings, events or trips including audio visual requirements, specific menu details and meal plan, recreation, dining, off site activities, billing, lodging and VIP arrangements. This position is responsible for providing the Director of Events and the Event Managers with administrative support such as running reports, on-site coverage, and distribution of banquet/catering information to internal and external customers.

 

Job Specifications:

  • Vail Collection: The Arrabelle at Vail Square, The Lodge at Vail and Vail Mountain
  • Expected Pay Range: $20.00 -  $22.76
    • Sales Incentive Plan, resulting in a quarterly incentive of up to 15% of quarterly salary.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time, Year Round
  • Skill Level: Specialist

 

Other job duties of this position include:

  • Maintaining relationships with existing accounts, detailing rooming lists, billing set up, Banquet Event Order preparations and resume creation.
  • When necessary, oversight of client functions to ensure our group/ event guests have the highest quality experience possible while maintaining a profitable department.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining a professional working relationship with internal department heads.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Job Qualifications:

  • At least 2 yrs working in Hospitality F&B - Preferred
  • Previous experience in a sales or conference services coordinator role - Preferred
  • Previous F&B experience - Preferred
  • Must have a working knowledge of catering and sales software systems. Delphi.fdc - Preferred
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good listening skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible work schedule
  • Ability to multi task and work under pressure

 

The expected pay range is $20.00 - $22.76. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
