Entry Vehicle Maintenance Technician - Year Round

Performs preventative maintenance and completes repairs on less complex vehicles, e.g. small two-cycle and four stroke engines. Assists more experienced staff with maintenance and reapirs on more complex fleet vehicles. Maintains shop safety standards and productivity levels. Possesses a working knowledge of both gasoline and diesel powered vehicles.

 

Basic Job duties:

  • Performs and assists with periodic maintenance services on a variety of fleet vehicles.
  • Perform tire mounting/dismounting and wheel balancing.
  • Demonstrate basic Automotive Electrical System Knowledge to include Starting, Charging, and Lighting Systems.
  • Demonstrate basic vehicle suspension knowledge to include the ability to identify component wear/damage.
  • Ability to be part of a team oriented shop in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety by being an active participant in a safety oriented shop culture.
  • Ability to meet all customer expectations with a positive and friendly attitude.
  • Comply with all company policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements:

  • High School, or GED and Basic Automotive Certification   
  • 1-3 Years Basic Automotive Hands-on Work Experience
  • Colorado Drivers License
  • Basic Automotive On-Board Computer Systems, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in English Language for Speaking and Writing
  • Must provide own tool box with a variety of hand tools
  • Prior Automotive Shop skills and work experience

The budgeted range starts at 16.00-20.00.  Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
