The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible with the use of our computer system (Visual One), courteously provides legendary hospitality experience while performing check in’s and out’s.  They will also maintain all guest accounts/folios so they are accurate. They will provide guests with knowledgeable and accurate information of Grand Teton and Flagg Ranch Company information along with the surrounding areas.  They will balance all accounting work at the end of each shift. Equally as important, you are here to have some fun too!   


As a Front Desk Supervisor the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Handles guest objections or issues (problem resolution)
  • Ensures the smooth operation of the Front Desk, assisting other departments when necessary and keeps the Front Office Managers informed of hotel activities and problems, and works cooperatively with other Department Supervisors to ensure the operation is running smoothly
  • Assists in training and re-training of staff
  • Makes Room Assignments and maintains accuracy of current status
  • Properly directs sales efforts of staff at the Front Desk and Activities
  • Suggests improvements in Front Office methods and service
  • Greets all guests when possible, and ensures a special welcome for VIP and returning guests 


In addition to the duties in the department the Front Desk Supervisor will receive additional tasks to aid in their personal development and development within their hospitality career path:

  • Scheduling
  • Sales Training Development
  • Possibility to cross-train in other rooms division departments
  • Best practice development – communication between Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance
  • Guest Survey Analysis and corrective action planning
  • Scheduling 1 on 1 meeting’s with Front Office Management to focus on other areas of business (Balance Sheet, P&L, Guest Service, Interview, etc.)


The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Possess the ability to present self professionally in guest interaction
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Organized and great with time mangement
  • Proficient with computer systems


We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required: 

  • Previous Front Desk experience
  • Previous supervisory experience
