With the use of a computer system, courteously provides legendary hospitality experience while performing registration, maintenance of guest accounts so they are accurate, checkouts, and other guest related services at the Front Desk.  Balance all accounting work at the end of each shift.

 

  • Check guests into cabins in a courteous, efficient manner while using the Property Management System.
  • Check guests out by accurately posting any necessary charges and payments in the Property Management System.
  • Provide guests with an orientation to the resort accurately answering all of their questions.
  • Assist guest with making arrangements for dining and activities in Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.
  • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to ensure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution.
  • Answers all phone calls to front desk and transfers calls or takes messages.
  • Book activities and dining reservations for non-resident guests.
  • Take walk-in room reservations as necessary
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the front desk area, back closet and lobby, including dusting, sweeping, and refilling complimentary water station.
  • Balance cash drawer and turn in balanced cashier audit at the end of shift.
  • Takes reservations for day of.
  • Coordinates special requests for rollaway and cribs; notifies Housekeeping and/or Maintenance Department of any items or complaints.
  • Notifies Housekeeping on guest checkouts, room changes, updated room status, and unexpected stay-overs.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Good working knowledge of computers
  • Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent people skills
  • Property Management System Experience
  • Cash Handling
