The Campground Supervisor is responsible for the opening, operation, and closing of the Headwaters Campground.  This individual is responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the Campground. 


Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Supervise and assist Campground Attendants with daily tasks.
  • Performs regular inspection of Campground comfort stations and Camper Cabins to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning of Camper Cabins prior to guest check-in at 2pm.
  • Responsible for deep cleaning and monitoring the condition of campground restrooms, including but not limited to – scrubbing toilets, showers, sinks and fixtures, mopping floor, replacing toilet paper and paper towel.
  • Uses Property Management System (Visual One) to check guests in and out of campground when necessary.
  • Partners with NPS in bear patrols ensuring safety of guests and preservation of the wildlife.
  • Attentively and politely respond to all guest concerns or complaints and follow up to ensure the guest has received a satisfactory resolution.
  • Trains staff in campground procedures and daily duties.
  • Supports training as required by personnel and the EH&S office.  Implements and trains employees as specified in job description attachments (i.e. Standard Operating Procedures-SOP).
  • Completes required tracking on individual employee training.  Ensure all completed forms are returned to Assistant General Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned


The “must haves” for this position include:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and successful completion of MVR
  • Knowledge of camping including RV’s and campers
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong people skills
  • Ability to lift, walk up and down hills, and bend without difficulty
  • Ability to supervise other employees, and to delegate responsbility


We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required: 

  • Property Management System experience
  • Cash handling
