Currently a Bronze Certified Club, an active Silver Certified Candidate and selected as a Development Club of the Year in 2019 this local club has a long history of producing strong technical skiers for both academy and collegiate programs, as well as several US Ski Team Athletes.

This is a Seasonal Full-time Managers position with summer opportunties available to create year round benefited employment.

Job Summary:

Mount Sunapee in Newbury NH is seeking a leader who excels in Snowsports athlete development and competition venue preparation and delivery. This position will be a key player and be instrumental in the daily operations of our Competition Services department and as part of the Skier Services Leadership Team at Mount Sunapee.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee staff hiring and training for race/event crew and competition program coaches.
• Responsible for staff scheduling and communications.
• Oversee and assist with daily set-up and maintenance of event and training facilities.
• Work with other staff and departments to promote a positive guest experience.
• Oversee and participate in event venue construction - installing fence, tents, banners, cabling, etc.
• Manage, lead and Maintain race facilities to ensure safety of all guests and staff.
• Responsible for all planning and scheduling of training and race venues for both internal programs and 3rd party programs.

Job Requirements:

• US Ski and Snowboard Level 200, additional PSIA or foreign coach/instructor equivalent accreditation a plus
• US Ski and Snowboard Alpine Officials Accreditation (TD, COR, COC, REF) or equivalent.
• Experience training staff in Technical delivery, safety and customer service.
• High level of experience and understanding of competition venue set-up and safety guidelines 
• Ability to lift and carry up to, and sometimes more than, 50lbs - required.
• Ability to ski and stand outside in all weather conditions, for 8+ hours per day - required.
• Valid U.S. Driver's license - required.
• Ability to work with power tools (cordless drills, etc.) - required.
• High school diploma - required.
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English - required.
• Advanced or higher skiing ability - required.

• Must be able to work weekends, evenings and holidays 
• Skilled with computers, timing, wiring, and standard competition venue equipment
