Department: Adventure Park-Base Operations                                                                                

Supervisor: Summer Operations Manager

 

Essential Functions/responsibilities (to include, but not limited to the following):

  • Responsible for facilitating Zip Line tours, Assisting guests through the Aerial Challenge Course and Tower/Airbag, communicating safety and other information to guests, proper use and implementation of equipment, cleaning and maintaining work areas, and assisting at the Adventure Park as needed
  • Responsible for providing a safe environment for the guest, while creating a positive experience
  • Responsible for daily safety checks on equipment and completion of safety inspection logs
  • Responsible for safe operation of all Zip Line, Aerial Challenge Course and Climbing Tower/Airbag Features
  • Responsible for performing tower evacuations and rescues
  • Actively communicate and work with all departments to ensure the highest level of guest service
  • Communicate and work with the managers to maintain a clean and professional appearance of the Adventure Park
  • Responsible for communication with the ticket, rental/retail department to ensure all liability and ticketing procedures are carried out properly within the operation guidelines
  • Responsible for participating in all safety initiatives to maintain a safe working environment for all staff and guests
  • Additional duties as requested by the supervisor

  • High level attention to detail

 

Physical Demands (to include, but not limited to the following):

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds (heavy lifting)
  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions for extended periods of time
  • Ability to access and guide all areas of the Zip Line, Aerial Challenge Course and Tower/Airbag
  • Ability to communicate via phone or radio
  • Must be able to use harness and rope system of Zip Line, Aerial Challenge Course and Tower/Airbag
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Ability to climb and descend
  • Must weigh no less than 100 pounds and no more than 250 pounds to comply with the safety specs of the manufacturer for all participants and staff.

 

Certifications/Diplomas/Prerequisites:

Must complete 36 hours of training, with employment contingent on passing a test at the conclusion of training

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous experience preferred
  • First Aid & CPR Certification preferred
