Stowe Mountain Resort is now hiring Ski and Snowboard Service Technicians for the winter season! Our ski & snowboard service technicians are responsible for tuning and repair on guest and fleet equipment - all while providing world-class customer service!!

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Service and repair customer equipment according to established guidelines. 
  • Complete accurate work orders and prioritizing work in an expedient manner
  • Determine customer equipment needs, assist in generating sales
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all safety procedures
  • Demonstrate a professional standard of customer service
  • Adhere to all policies, rules, and regulations of Vail Resorts
  • Remain current on industry products and trends, and demonstrate knowledge of products
  • Protect company and customer assets through loss prevention techniques
  • Maintain all company paperwork according to policy.
  • Communicate with store management and staff to achieve a seamless customer experience
  • Follow all ASTM guidelines set by the manufacturers
  • Comply with cash handling procedures including: register operation, cash outs and record keeping
  • Operate and maintain automated tuning equipment
  • Drill, mount, and test skis and bindings
  • Demonstrate positive attitude, especially in area of customer service

 

Qualifications:

  • Ski/snowboard tuning experience 
  • Ability to communicate fluently with co-workers and guests in accurate spoken and written English
  • Commitment to exceptional customer service
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule; including nights, holidays and weekends
  • Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand tools and power tools on a daily basis
  • Willing to become certified by ski binding manufacturers
  • Previous snow sport industry experience – preferred
  • Ski binding mounting experience – preferred

  • Weight Lifted – At least 50lbs
  • Lifting Frequency – Frequent
  • Standing Frequency – Frequent
  • Walking Frequency – Frequent
