Stowe Mountain Resort is actively seeking a Catering Sales & Service Coordinator to assist in the execution and coordination of social and ski events contracted by the Resort Sales Team.  The ideal candidate will act as liaison between the resort, sales and services team and the customer – using empathy, listening skills, negotiation, creativity and product knowledge to deliver an extraordinary customer experience and an experience of a lifetime.

 

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of service to both internal and external customers
  • Work with internal departments on scheduling and detailing meetings and events
  • Tracking departmental budget including travel calendar, forecasting and purchasing
  • Assist Sales Managers with the administrative functions of the sales and service process
  • Monitor and distribute leads from online and phone group inquiries
  • Develop thorough working knowledge of all venues, services and activities that our Sales and Services team represent
  • Assist with hosting group Meet & Greets
  • Prepare final group invoicing
  • Run weekly and monthly reporting to support the Sales & Service team utilizing Delphi.FDC and RPOS systems
  • Reconcile past groups for data accuracy
  • Assist in planning of site tours and client events
  • Additional support as requested by the Director of Sales

 
 Job Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • At least 2 years of previous guest/customer service experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Able to read, write, speak, comprehend and understand English
  • Must demonstrated ability to build relationships with variety of individuals and departments
  • Strong computer skills

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous experience in SalesForce.com and/or Delphi.FDC
  • Food and beverage experience
  • Related College degree
  • Worked as part of an administrative team
  • Knowledge of Stowe mountain venues, operations and the community
