Act as first contact with guests directing general traffic. Provide outstanding guest service by parking guests quickly and safely. Offer information and assistance as needed. Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner while directing and guiding their vehicle in an appropriate parking position.


This job has no supervisory responsibilities.



  • Direct traffic, motorists and vehicle parking using hand motions, flags, and flashlights as needed.
  • Assist guests with parking in a safe and orderly fashion.
  • Provide guests with pertinent information.
  • Assist guests with any related parking problems.
  • Ability to work in all winter weather environments combined with arduous duties.
  • Assist with jumpstarts, lockouts, tow outs, and shoveling.
  • Place and remove parking barricades, cones, and signs to open and close parking lot areas.
  • May assist with collection of parking fees.
  • Assist in daily cleaning and organization of the Parking building.
  • Shovel snow and assist in snow removal of parking areas.



Strong communication skills and customer service experience required. Must be friendly and outgoing with a willingness to help others. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form, and to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Flagging experience is helpful. Ability to assist with jumpstarts, lockouts, tow-outs, shoveling, and immediate guest assistance. Ability to stand and work outdoors in winter weather conditions during full work shift. Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business. May be required to be able to be insured to drive/operate company owned vehicles/machinery.



While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and talk or hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision and color vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to outside weather conditions and slippery, icy, snowy walking surfaces. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
