The Ski and Snowboard School Supervisor is a member of the Park City Ski and Snowboard School Leadership team. Becoming part of the Park City team means you’re joining one of the best ski brands in the world. The primary responsibility of this role is to insure the overall quality of the guest and employee experience. This is accomplished by focusing on the guest, the employee, personal development and job specific responsibilities. This is a salaried position- starts Oct 30 and finishes April 20.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Model the company’s mission, vision and values
  • Manage staffing as business dictates    
  • Regularly assess performance of staff including, observation, coaching and  delivering performance feedback
  • Play an integral role in our culture of Health and Safety
  • Ensure staff adhere to company and departmental policies & procedures
  • Administer appropriate record keeping and reporting systems to include and not limited to: payroll and a working knowledge of RPOS
  • Communicate with all SSBS locations as well as other departments to create an environment of support and trust that will benefit staff and guests
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma  and/or two years relevant proven leadership experience in related field, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
  • Must meet current PSIA/AASI Level II or equivalent certification standards
  • Communicate effectively in written form and verbally 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Windows based applications and internet based software

Physical Requirements

  • Able to withstand lengthy exposure to cold and inclement weather
  • Able to sit at computer for extended periods of time
  • Physical strength and ability to respond appropriately to emergency and other unplanned situations, and the ability to ski/ride extended periods of time, which could include an entire work day.
