Job Summary
The private lesson administrator is an integral part of our Ski and Snowboard School team. This position plays a vital role in the experiences of our internal and external guests and has a direct impact on the successes of our most exclusive and premier products. This position is instrumental in driving superior results in our private lessons through engagement, support and collaboration with multiple touch points including our guests, instructors, Product Sales and Services team, and Ski and Snowboard School supervisor and management teams. This position also plays a vital role in driving our guest satisfaction or GX performance indicators by working diligently to make the best connection possible between our guest’s needs and our instructor’s attributes.

- Starting Wage: $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr

Duties/Responsibilities
- Oversee the scheduling of all assigned private lessons
- Book request private lessons as submitted by instructors. advanced bookings, day of extensions and next day bookings
- Align the best connection possible based on the information gathered from the guest and an understanding of an instructor’s attributes
- Update call center bookings and follow up with guests to ensure the booked instructor best matches the guest’s needs
- Work closely with the PSS team and Call Center team to facilitate private lesson bookings and requests and manage last minute and walk in sales
- Work with the PSS recovery team to update and collect failed lesson charges
- Act as a communication conduit between the guest, the instructor and the management teams
- Follow up with guests after their lesson to get feedback on their experience
- Train the PSS teams on the private lesson reservation processes to facilitate efficiency in these processes
- Assist location manager and product manager with forecasting and evaluating staffing levels relative to business needs to maximize group lesson and private lesson sales revenue
- Directly involved with the product managers to facilitate the proper allocation of instructors into private lesson products
- Monitor instructor schedule changes and accuracies
- Work with staff and management to track and facilitate traveling instructors from Park City SSBS and instructors visiting from other resorts with their guests

Job Requirements
- Must possess strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate, guide and work with several groups of people simultaneously, i.e. guests, instructors, Product Sales and Services teams, call center teams, and Ski and Snowboard School supervisors and managers
- Good knowledge of Window’s based programs including but not limited to: Word, Excel, creating data reports
- Ability to speak, read, write and communicate clearly and professionally in English
- Flexible schedule, exceptional time management and attention to detail
- High level of interpersonal communication and a focus on customer service
- Ability to work weekends and holidays throughout the season
- Office environment, i.e. sitting, standing and walking in a small area for extended periods of time with few breaks
- Lifting, bending and squatting
- Frequent phone work, repetitive keyboard action and manual dexterity required
- Ability to change attire quickly and conduct business outside at lesson meeting areas when/if necessary
- Provide superior guest service to all guests and employees at all times
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and guidelines

Preferred:
- Extensive knowledge of all Ski & Snowboard School products, including times, locations and options
- Extensive knowledge of all Vail Resorts and Park City Mountain SSBS Policies and Procedures
- Extensive knowledge of the instructor scheduling/messaging system to ensure instructors are prepared for their private lessons
- Background in using RPOS or equivalent POS system

The expected pay range is $22.00/hr - $26.03/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
