Senior Administrative Assistant - Mountain Operations

This position is responsible for coordination, and office manager duties for the Vice President of Mountain Operations, with oversight of Lift Operations, Patrol, Terrain Parks, Snow Surfaces and Maintenance as needed.  Assists customers and staff members when necessary in a timely and enthusiastic manner.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with administrative duties such as correspondence, meeting minutes, emailing, copying, faxing, scheduling of meetings, returning phone calls and other administrative support as required.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail and shipping assistance for the departments. 
  • Maintain an appropriate working knowledge of all general office equipment (e.g. copiers, fax machines) Responsible for keeping department printers and fax machines adequately stocked with paper and in working order.
  • Work with IT department to resolve technical issues as well as become proficient in working department office equipment such as fax, copiers, printers, phones, headsets, postage meter, video conference equipment, LCD projector, etc.
  • Perform special projects such as analysis, presentation preparation in PowerPoint and assignments as required.
  • Assist with or handle various travel arrangements as needed.
  • Assist at the resorts during peak periods as necessary.
  • Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the office and safety of guests and employees; participating in safety meetings; accepting diverse assignments; maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.
  • Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by immediate supervisor.
  • Daily monitoring/logging and coordinating of guest and employee concerns related to the operations of the resort.
  • Financial responsibilities include review of budgets, expense reports, and other financial duties as assigned.
  • Produce weekly reports for VP of Operations and provides reports to his/her direct reports.
  • Attend all company and department training programs as required        
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); College course work helpful.
  • Minimum two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  
  • Typing (40wpm) and good communication skills, both oral and written. Good computer skills needed.  Advanced MS Excel and Power Point preferred.
