Then a position in Product Sales is just what you’re looking for.   A position with the Product Sales Team involves a high level of guest interaction, exceptional customer service and the ability to anticipate and react quickly to guest needs in a busy, beautiful summer mountain environment.


Summer Ticket Office Agents are part of the Product Sales Team and are responsible for selling summer activity tickets and season pass products at various ticket office locations. Agents will also spend part of their day outside welcoming guests, answering questions, providing general assistance and ensuring all activity release waivers are completed correctly when assisting guests in the ticket lines. It’s also expected you will cross train in other departments which will help you become more flexible in your day-to-day work in Product Sales. All team members deliver outstanding customer service and provide quality information about Park City products and services to our guests and help them enjoy an exceptional summer mountain experience.


Mandatory Work Dates and Schedules:

Mountain Village summer operations begin May 27, 2022 with mandatory training provided the week before. All team members will be expected to work holidays (our busiest times of course) and weekends.  Team members are expected to work the entire summer through the end of September.

Work schedule is based upon operating hours, business volume and work assignment.  Full time is 35+ hours a week and you can be scheduled 4 to 5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day based on schedule assignment with a 9:30 a.m. start time and end times between 4 – 8pm based on your schedule.  Part time is 15+ hours per week minimum and usually scheduled 2 to 3 days a week based on business levels and number of hours worked. 


Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

  • Accurately and efficiently process summer activity tickets and season passes.
  • Make suitable product recommendations to meet guest needs and business objectives.
  • Handle high volumes of customer interaction while delivering exceptional service; internal & external.
  • Assist and follow through with resolution of guest complaints, concerns and suggestions.
  • Perform daily sales and closing procedures and be held responsible for your end of day point of sale audit.
  • Multi-task - interact with guests and perform computer sales functions at the same time.
  • Create a fun and professional work environment.
  • Follow company/department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in resort and departmental trainings as required.
  • Accurately provide information about summer activities, lift tickets, season passes and resort village information, all while effectively directing guests to the correct line or sales location.
  • Positively connect with guests and effectively manage ticket lines at the same time as ensuring the release of liabilities are finished accurately and completely.
  • Be willing to cross-train in other departments to include different lines of business in Product Sales including our Mountain Village call center which provides information on summer activities, ski school sales, inbound summer/winter lift ticket and season pass sales calls, etc.
  • Take initiative to perform “out of the box” duties/actions for internal and external guests.



  • Willing and able to work the entire summer (May 2022 through end of September 2022).
  • Flexible regarding work schedules and able to commit to working weekends and holidays.
  • Punctual and can start work at 9:30 am each morning; is available to work until 8pm in the evenings as required.
  • Able to stand and work outside in summer weather conditions for a minimum of 4 hours per day.
  • Proficient on POS software and/or Microsoft applications.
  • Able to communicate fluently and effectively in English.
  • Able to retain a high volume of information to answer questions about all resort products and Park City in general.
  • Able to stay calm and perform well in busy and stressful situations.
  • At least 16 years of age.
