Job Summary:
Supervise daily operations of a ski resort childcare facility; to substitute for the Daycare Manager and or supervisor in his or her absence. Responsible for the daily operations of the teachers, parents, children and facilities.
Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times. Follow The Resort’s etiquette guidelines.
- Provides guidance, boosts moral, and gives training to caregivers when needed.
- Works with potential guests during the reservation process and then follows through with confirmations.
- Reviews paperwork with parents. Prior to check in
- Alerts manager when supplies are low.
- Keeps the center organized and free from clutter.
- Creates Lesson plans & child age appropriate activities.
- Coordinate reservations and assignments. Make changes as necessary to ensure proper supervision of children attending program. May assign teachers to appropriate classrooms.
- Responsible for resolving customer complaints when manager is not available.
- Coordinates food orders with the Kitchen and May retrieve food orders daily.
- Accommodate guests’ requests as needed.
- Performs end of the day daily close-outs.
- Conducts daily huddles with caregivers each morning to provide important daily information.
- Files children information and other reports.
- Provide daily care to children when needed.
- 20 hours of training required annually
- Helps manager in making important decisions regarding operations.
- Assists organizational supervisor with all operations in the manager’s absence.
- Processing of daily revenue payments.
- Makes sure all state licensing rules and regulations are being followed and implemented.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to pass company and child licensing background check
- Must be 21yrs of age or older
- College degree in Child Development desired, High school education a must, plus one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
- Previous child care service preferred
- Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
- Ability to perform job duties.
- Ability to deal with children and parents courteously and efficiently.
- Ability to be highly multi-tasked
- Basic reading, writing and math skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, lift and carry children
- Ability to withstand cold and hot weather
- Ability to tolerate high levels of noise
The expected pay range is $23.00 - $25.51. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
