The Assistant Golf Professional is responsible for partnering with the the Golf Management Team to oversee the player services staff, ensuring the course is run smoothly and efficiently each day.  Remain in constant communication with the team, including maintenance, to appropriately manage tee time reservations, rate of play, weather, maintenance issues, etc.  Join the team and enjoy perks such as a Free Epic Pass for yourself & your dependents, Golf Team perks, hotel, restaurant, and retail discounts, free leadership and personal development classes, career advancement opportunities, and so much more! 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide employees and guests with the Experience of a Lifetime.
  • Manage tee time reservations; assist direct-reports with reservation management.
  • Manage supplies, inventory, retail purchasing, supply ordering, employee scheduling, and other back of house operations.
  • Conducting golf tournaments/outings.
  • Teaching golf lessons.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Able to communicate effectively and professionally in English - required   
  • PGA Apprentice Level 1 or greater - required   
  • Previous guest service experience and excellent guest service skills - required   
  • Golf experience - Rules of Golf, Merchandising, Tournament Execution, etc. - required   
  • Willingness to learn and to teach lessons - required   
  • Microsoft Office proficiency - required
  • Able to work outside in all weather conditions - required   
  • Able to work weekends, holidays, and long hours - required   
  • Able to work the entire season - required   
  • Able to lift heavy items, weighing up to 50 pounds - required
  • Experience with tee time reservations and management - required
  • Experience with inventory and cart fleet management - required
  • Experience with point of sale system - preferred
