The Food and Beverage Administrative Assistant reports directly to the Director of Mountain Dining, as well as provides administrative services to the rest of the F&B Management team to ensure effective and efficient operations.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to work independently on tasks and is proficient in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Assists Food and Beverage outlet managers to ensure all employees receive the training, support, guidance, and resources necessary
  • Understands corporate and resort specific policies and procedures, as well as Food and Beverage department policies and goals
  • Record keeper for all compliance in Northstar Mountain Dining; Safety Meetings and Monthly Operational Reviews
  • Coordinate and facilitate Mountain Dining specific orientations and returning Mountain Dining employee orientations
  • Manage employee relation event and communications 
  • Manage domestic employee hiring
  • Manage international employee hiring and act as liaison to international sponsor companies
  • Manage the onboarding process and I9 Check Ins for Mountain Dining employees 
  • Participate in local recruiting fairs
  • Act as system administrator for programs; Microsoft Teams, Avero, Sling Scheduling Tool, 360 Intel Food Safety Audit App, RightCycle Program
  • Assist with implementation of special projects  
  • Act as Sustainability Champion for the Food and Beverage department 
  • Responsible for the taking and distribution of all meeting minutes and follow up on action items
  • Assist with annual budget process and fraud reports
  • Active member on interdepartmental committees to aid in overall resort success
  • Strong familiarity with resort operations and food and beverage business acumen
  • Contribute to team effort by participating in job sharing; participating in food service, assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of our guests and employees



Requirements include:

  • Ability to maintain a positive work ethic
  • Ability to carry up to 30 lbs
  • High school diploma or GED
