The Team Lead of the Adventure Center will partner with the Sr. Operations Manager to lead the summer activities and guest service team and assist the company with events to follow the goals and objectives set forth by Vail Resorts.  Provide a safe, fun learning environment for our guests and employees.  Build lasting relationships with guests and employees.  Be involved in a positive work environment.

Job Specifications: 

• Starting Wage: $17 per hour
• Effective October 2022 minimum wage will be increased to $20 per hour.
• Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time
• Skill Level: Lead

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

• Hire Staff for activities, events and Guest Service
• Schedule staff to meet or exceed budgeted wage to revenue expectations
• Develop and implement guest service training and activities training
• Support an attraction or activity while performing  all duties as required 
• Fulfill job specific work requirements on a constant and consistent basis
• Follow all proper SOPs and standard protocols to ensure the highest level of safety
• Adhere to all of the safety policies to prioritize and ensure guest and staff safety on a constant basis 
• Ensure the highest level of cleanliness and working conditions 
• Provide a safe, fun, learning environment for guests and staff 
• Actively mitigate any hazards that may come up or are seen
• Be actively involved in daily meetings so that the team can carry out our goals and objectives
• Work with other departments such as the Resort Company, base area operations, group sales and lifts

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent 
• Fluent in English
• 2+ Years of supervisory experience
• Experience guiding/leading groups
• Experience working outdoors
• Experience operating equipment such as hand tools, surface lifts, chain saws, harnesses, ziplines and climbing equipment
• Able to work early mornings/late evenings as needed
• Able to coach, train and develop employees
